On Monday, July 26th, AHTCC joined 9 other industry organizations on a letter discussing H.R. 4868, the Housing Preservation and Tenant Protection Act of 2010. Over the past few months, AHTCC has stressed to its members the importance of presenting to Congress a well-crafted and broadly supported legislative plan designed to spur new investment in the Housing Credit program while also assisting current investors in the program.

AHTCC has joined with many other industry groups to advance a set of proposals designed to stimulate investment in the Housing Credit program. A new website, A.C.T.I.O.N. (A Call To Invest in Our Neighborhoods), has been created to track the progress of this industry-wide effort.
