On March 8, 2006, the Department of Housing and Urban Development released income limits for 2006. HUD is required to set income limits that determine the eligibility of applicants of HUD assisted housing programs including Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments, and Section 202 (elderly housing) and Section 811 (housing for persons with disabilities) programs.

After Hurricane Charlie, I faced a challenging transition to Fort Myers. While living there my automobile was stolen and my home was burglarized on two different occasions. By grace and true to her word, Mrs. Jean (management) offered me a new apartment and a safe place to reside back in Punta Gorda at Gulf Breeze Apartments. I am in debt to her and the amibale staff for facilitating my move back.
