AHTCC Announces 14th Annual Charles L. Edson Tax Credit Excellence Awards Program

Nominations are encouraged and may be made by state Housing Credit allocating agencies, governmental agencies, national or local nonprofits, syndicators, or development owners.  Entries should be postmarked by close of business on April 4, 2008 and sent directly to AHTCC.  A complete application, judging criteria, and other program requirements are attached and can also be found online at www.taxcreditcoalition.org.  If your organization is interested in becoming a sponsor for the Charles L. Each winner will receive a $5,000 grant to bring additional services, facilities, or amenities to the development for the benefit of its residents.  Entry categories include:    

  • Projects located in a metropolitan area (minimum population of 50,000 of Standard Metropolitan Area);
  • Projects located in rural area (maximum population of 50,000);  
  • Special Needs Housing ― without regard to project location;  
  • Senior Housing;  
  • GO Zone Properties;  
  • Public Housing Revitalization (New In 2008).
