On Monday, July 26th, AHTCC joined 9 other industry organizations on a letter discussing H.R. 4868, the Housing Preservation and Tenant Protection Act of 2010. While AHTCC supports many pieces of the legislation there are several provisions which raise concerns among industry participants.

On December 17, 2009, fifteen Senators signed onto a “Dear Colleague” letter addressed to Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-MT) and Ranking Member Charles Grassley (R-IA) in support of legislative changes to the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program.

On Friday, October 9, 2009 Ernst & Young published a survey concerning Low Income Housing Tax Credit investment. The survey was commissioned by Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. and Local Initiatives Support Corporation in order to better understand the LIHTC investment market and to analyze investor responses to certain legislative proposals.
